  • Customer Need / Challenge

    A customer wants to test the performance of their springs, but also the functionality of their spring test stand with a wireless solution.

  • Interface Solution

    Interface suggests using one of their WTS-5200XYZ 3-Axis Force Moment Load Cell which has 3 integral WTSAM-1E Wireless Transmitters and installing it into the customer’s spring compression frame. The WTS-5200XYZ 3-Axis Force Moment Load Cell will measure the force compression of the spring. The integral WTS-AM-1E Wireless Strain Bridge Transmitter Modules will transmit and display the information wirelessly to the LCCAXXX Wireless Instrument Enclosure. It can also be programmed to trigger an alarm.

  • Results

    The customer was able to wirelessly get compression results on the spring being tested. They were also able to verify their spring compression test stand was working effectively.

How it Works


  1. The WTS-5200XYZ 3-Axis Force Moment Load Cell with 3 integral WTS-AM-1E Wireless Transmitters is installed into the customer’s spring compression frame.
  2. The spring is compressed, and force measurements are read by the WTS-5200XYZ 3-Axis Force Moment Load Cell with 3 integral WTS-AM-1E Wireless Transmitters.
  3. The output information is transmitted wirelessly to the LCCA-XXX Wireless Instrument Enclosure. If needed, the LCCA-XXX Wireless Instrument Enclosure can be programmed to trigger an alarm.
